Creep Feeder

Two old chairs and some gash timber and the kids and I have have made what we think is the most elegant of feed stalls for our new babies. The lambs are not old enough to need creep feed just yet, but it was a bit of a half term project.

We’re going to have to make some alterations to the creep feeder as isn’t heavy enough, it was fine with 2 ewes pushing at it, but 3 can move it and 10 will be like those american footballers. I think I am going to have to secure it up against a fence, which will mean it can only be accesed from one side, but the lambs won’t be at risk of being mowed down by it.
